Our ๐ŸŒŸ Chair Pilates ๐ŸŒŸ classes in Little Paxton are almost full for after the February Half Term! What is Pilates..? ๐Ÿค”We always call Pilates the MOT for our bodies. With a comfortable mix of strength and mobility exercises, the slow controlled movements you learn in Pilates help you hold your posture better, strengthen your muscles and engage your core muscles, and keep your body supple.What is Chair Pilates..? ๐Ÿค”This is our Pilates class where the regular floor exercises are adapted to working from a chair! We appreciate that exercising from the floor is not suitable for everyone. Letโ€™s talk aboutโ€ฆPilates! ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ’œ Pilates has helped our clients with chronic back pain live a pain-free life with regular practice๐Ÿ’œ Cyclists and runners have incorporated our Pilates classes into their regular routine and now see improvement in their lap times, technique and core strength (plus, it's great for injury prevention)๐Ÿ’œ In a medical exam, one of our clients (now an instructor!) was recorded as 2cm taller, as Pilates has helped them correct their posture๐Ÿ’œ The centre of Pilates focuses on posture, core strength and mobility - a winning combination that includes the much sought-after toning and conditioning that exercise gives, as well as all these other fantastic rewards.๐Ÿ’œ We have also worked with clients who struggle with their mental health, and have been able to come off their anti-depressant medication as a result of regular Pilates practice.๐Ÿ’œ Itโ€™s so versatile! I LOVE Pilates because we can adapt it in so many ways, and alongside our regular Mat Pilates classes, youโ€™ll also find Chair Pilates and Deep Tissue Pilates! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’œ On a personal note, I find Pilates and exercise help me regain control over my anxieties and give me much-needed headspace. ๐Ÿ˜ŒThis list is not exhaustive, just a few of my favourite reasons why we should all incorporate regular Pilates practice into our routine! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸผA quote from the man himself - "Pilates is for life.
